The British Bug Project
We at AAC works are attempting to create a uniquely British styled VW.
To do this we have our project car that is used to test all of our ideas to see if they can or do work.
We try to use period British made accessories and components when ever possible so that our finished look will be one that would fit not look out of place in the 60's or 70's.
We are not trying to be Anglo centric; we are trying to do something different.
We have far to go until our work is done so this is just a preview of things to come.

Here is our British made compomotive mini light wheel that had been polished and painted satin black and fitted with 145 tyres to our 7.5inch rims

Here we have a Smiths rev counter, Smiths oil gauge and twin red x gauges fitted to custom made gauge pods.
There is also a period map light and fire extinguishers finished with a classic wood rim steering wheel and custom made steering wheel boss that hold the original badge.
