Vortz Vapourlube is an anti corrosion product that unlike many established products does not contain paraffin, turpentine or any other chemicals that may cause accelerated corrosion.
The DF1 is specifically designed to work as a capillary agent for the DF2. The DF2 is the anti corrosion chemical that does all the work so all efforts are to get this onto your vehicle as much and as efficiently as possible.
The DF1 is used in areas where ready access is not available such as; chassis box section, transmition tunnelling, double skinned panels such as sills and bulkheads, and so on.
Remember this product is a Vapourlube and so customers are advised to read all instructions and take the correct safety precautions before applying. Vapourlube will have a noticeable smell that will fill your vehicle and garage.
This smell is not offensive and will dissipate on its own. An added side effect of using this product that many customers have noticed is that your vehicle may well get quieter, this is because the Vapourlube will lubricate all of those inaccessible parts that often get overlooked on a service. (Can also quieten down spring rub noise on older vehicles.)
As always with all anti corrosion products like this the performance it gives you is dependant upon the application. This is a good old fashioned product that requires some good old fashioned common sense.
Don’t apply to a dirty or salty vehicle!
Don’t apply once and expect it to still be there if you scrape, weld, grind or pressure wash any area where it has been applied!
Do top up when ever is required and wherever it has been removed and you will have the best possible rust protection for you vehicle.
